The Centre for Computing and Informatics (CEVTI) develops computer-aided methods for image processing and experimental data analysis. It supports numerical methods for solving problems in material mechanics, structural mechanics, and experimental mechanics. The centre also develops and manages the operation of the institute's internal information system and external electronic presentation.

An important part of CEVTI is the specialised ÚTAM library, which manages the library collection, provides publication support to authors, and handles the necessary bureaucracy associated with its reporting. Additionally, the centre provides information services related to the acquisition, processing, and dissemination of scientific information within the institute's field of expertise. The library plays a key role in facilitating access to scientific literature and ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
